I purchased this dutch oven/cloche for baking bread. It performed as advertised and produced great results. The quality of the casting and seasoning was beautiful. I seasoned it 3 times before use as instructed and it worked perfectly.
UPDATE:after writing my original (below) review, customer service reached out to exchange the item. customer service was able to send a replacement which was not defective and what was expected. the communication from Legend was great and the replacement hasn’t had any issues. DONT BUY THIS! spend the extra money elsewhere. i haven’t even used this and it’s already rusted!obviously you would clean something before you cook on it and eat from it. and that’s what i did, and this is the result after hand washing and following recommended instructions. unfortunately i already trashed the box so idk if i can return it or not but i will try to!
I love making my own #keto or low carb sourdough, rye bread, this dutch oven retains the moisture that it takes to have that most desired crunchy crust and does an excellent job. The safety features are very much appreciated. Acceptionally well constructed for the price
Loved it met all my expectations
Got this as a gift for Christmas and I love it. It did take me about 5 or 6 times to season it and get all the wax off before I could use it. I ended up buying a thermometer to use it as a deep fryer. Works amazingly well and the chicken came out better than any restraunt in the area. If you're going to fry make sure to do your room temperature food first aka the chicken i breaded before doing any freezer stuff like the curly fries because frozen food will drop your temperature by 100-200 degrees. Everything I've cooked so far tastes so good and this thing is beefy. It will last many years. Just make sure to clean it out the same day you cook in it. Also don't believe the lies about not being able to use dish soap. I still avoid it but dish soap can't penetrate the seasoned layers if you season it properly. You can still used a little dish soap just heat off all the excess water after you're done. Next adventure will be baking bread in it like grandma used to.
J'ai utilisé ce produit pour faire du pain . Apres 3 ou 4 utilisations de la cocotte je ne comprends pas pourquoi j'ai un un petit peu de metal qui se voit dans le couvercle . À part ce point là je suis tres satisfaite du produit . Je devrais peut etre communiquer avec le fabricant ?
